Abstract

The fragmentation and dispersal of agricultural lands in many countries of the world is a major obstacle to modern agriculture. The present study investigates the factors affecting the creep of agricultural lands and its effects on yield, cost and income of the main crop of wheat (rainfed) for autumn 2018 in Zivieh region located in Saqez city. 108 farmers were selected as a sample using stratified random sampling method. In order to achieve the objectives of the research, factor analysis and correlation analysis were used. The studied variables were divided into four groups: socio-cultural, economic, agricultural and physical-natural using factor analysis. Then their effects on land dispersion were investigated using correlation analysis. The results obtained from correlation analysis show a significant and positive relationship between age, agricultural experience, number of farmer family workforce, number of farmer sons and daughters, production cost, wheat seed consumption, number of parts, number of crops, duration Plowing time per hectare is the amount of sloping land and the type of water source with land fragmentation. The results also indicate a significant negative relationship between land dispersion with the amount of investment, annual agricultural income, crop yield, distance from the main spring and distance from the village center.
