Abstract

The aim of this study was to Motivational Factors, Affecting Learning Performance of Agricultural Students: Case of College of Agriculture, University of Zanjan. This study is conducted among the non-experimental and applied fieldwork research. The population of the study consisted of students of Zanjan University. Sampling for each community (academic orientation) was done with Stratified random sampling method which choose 283 students using Kokaran formula. Data were collected with Questionnaires after experts' verification. To determine the validity and reliability of the instrument study, Cronbach's alpha was used. The amount was equal to 86/0 for For the original questionnaire scale. To analyze the data, SPSS win 20 and LISREL 8.8 software and the value of the coefficient of variation, correlation analysis, confirmatory factor analysis was used. The results of confirmatory factor analysis Measures of motivation and motivation to learn showed that Student motivation is a function of needing to progress, intrinsic motivation, external motivation, self-efficacy, self-worth and hardworking, and Learning motivation is a function of Interest or attention, relevance, confidence, satisfaction. The results showed that among the dimensions of the motivational factors "need to progress, intrinsic motivation, self-worth and hard work" are more important in the learning of students.
