Content analysis of change organization toward confirmed Information System in Iranian Fisheries organization

Abstract

Objective: Due to environmental changes and, consequently, changes in business patterns and organizational structures, organizations have faced many problems. Therefore, keeping up with these changes requires a full understanding of the current state of the organization and its current potential. Also, the intensification of competition, the sudden occurrence of changes, the demand for higher quality products and services, and the scarcity of resources are putting more pressure on organizations than ever before. In this regard, the decision to change the program of current activities can affect the competitive advantage of the organization. What is important in these decisions is to make sure that the decision is not made in a vacuum; So for its quality, accurate and timely information is required to improve. Therefore, the organizations sought to equip themselves with information. Meanwhile, the Fisheries Organization of Iran, as an institution that has a serious responsibility in promoting the level of sustainability and development of aquaculture in the country and also resorted to intelligence systems to adapt to a turbulent and complex environment.
Methods: The research method was qualitative content analysis with exploratory approach
and used Snowball sampling. To this end, in-depth interview was conducted with 22 experts and specialists. A total of 22 semi-constructed interviews were conducted with 14 experts from the Iranian Fisheries organization, 3 professors from the Fisheries Department of the University of Tehran, and 5 from the Fisheries Research Institute of Tehran. Data analysis was performed MAXQDA12 software.
Results: The results of quality content analysis show that 79 codes in 9 subcategories; Included: "Monitoring and Evaluation", "Participatory Policy", "Strategy Development", "Capacity Development",
"Appropriate organizations", "Macro-policies", "accountability", "incentives for change" and "transparency of financial and administrative affairs" identified as components of organizational change in order to form the information system in the Fisheries Organization.
Discussion: The results can be used by managers and stakeholders, planners and policy makers in organizational change and the information system.
