Therefore, the present study aimed to investigate the role of environmental education on the responsible environmental behavior of students at the Campus of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Tehran. The statistical population of this study consisted of agricultural students at the Campus of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Tehran, among whom 97 students (30 in the control group and 67 in the experimental group) participated. The data collection instrument was a researcher-made questionnaire based on a 5-point Likert scale (1 = very low; 5 = very high), which was completed by agricultural students in two phases (before and after the educational intervention). The reliability of the research instrument was calculated and confirmed using 30 questionnaires completed by agricultural students outside the participant sample, with a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.86. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS version 25. The results of the Mann–Whitney U test indicated that before the educational intervention, there was no significant difference in the mean score of responsible environmental behavior between the control and experimental groups. However, after the intervention, a significant difference was observed between the mean scores of the two groups, with the experimental group demonstrating more favorable responsible environmental behavior in terms of mean score. Furthermore, the results showed no significant difference in the mean score of responsible environmental behavior in the control group before and after the educational intervention. In contrast, the experimental group showed a significant difference in the mean score of responsible environmental behavior before and after the intervention, indicating that the educational intervention improved the responsible environmental behavior of the experimental group. Therefore, it is recommended that attention be paid to the importance and role of environmental education in improving the responsible environmental behavior of individuals in society, particularly agricultural students who will have greater interaction with nature in the future. Accordingly, courses aimed at promoting responsible environmental behavior should be incorporated into the students' curriculum. نهاد آموزش عالی، نهادی است که انتظار می رود با ارایه آمـوزش­هـای مناسـب، آگـاهی لازم برای تغییر نگرش و رفتار دانشجویان جهت حمایت از محیط زیست را فراهم نماید. از­این­رو پژوهش حاضر با هدف پژوهش بررسی نقش آموزش محیط­زیستی بر رفتار مسئولانه محیط­زیستی دانشجویان پردیس کشاورزی و منابع طبیعی دانشگاه تهران انجام شد.  جامعه آماری پژوهش حاضر، دانشجویان کشاورزی پردیس کشاورزی و منابع طبیعی دانشگاه تهران بودند که از میان آن­ها 97 نفر (گروه کنترل 30 نفر و گروه آزمون 67 نفر) در این پژوهش مشارکت کردند. ابزار گردآوری داده­ها پرسشنامه محقق ساخته در قالب طیف 5 سطحی لیکرت ( خیلی­کم=1؛ خیلی­زیاد=5) بود که در دو نوبت ( قبل و بعد از مداخله آموزشی) توسط دانشجویان کشاورزی تکمیل شد. پایایی ابزار پژوهش توسط تعداد 30 پرسشنامه از دانشجویان کشاورزی خارج از مشارکت­کنندگان با مقدار آلفای کرونباخ 86/0 محاسبه گردید و تایید شد. داده­های گردآوری شده با استفاده از نرم­افزار SPSS_V25 تحلیل شدند. نتایج آزمون من­وایتنی نشان داد قبل از مداخله آموزشی میانگین نمره رفتار مسئولانه محیط­زیستی گروه کنترل و آزمون تفاوت معناداری نداشت اما بعد از اعمال مداخله آموزشی تفاوت معناداری بین میانگین نمره دو گروه مشاهده شد. به­طوری که گروه آزمون به لحاظ شاخص میانگین، نمره رفتار مسئولانه محیط­زیستی مطلوب­تری داشتند. علاوه بر این نتایج نشان داد، میانگین نمره رفتار مسئولانه محیط­زیستی گروه کنترل، قبل و بعد از مداخله آموزشی دارای تفاوت معناداری نبود. با این حال در ارتباط با گروه آزمون، میانگین نمره رفتار مسئولانه محیط­زیستی قبل و بعد از مداخله آموزشی تفاوت معناداری را نشان داد و مداخله آموزشی منجر به بهبود رفتار مسئولانه محیط­زیستی گروه آزمون شد. از­ این­رو پیشنهاد می­گردد در راستای بهبود رفتار مسئولانه محیط­زیستی افراد جامعه و به­طور خاص دانشجویان کشاورزی که در آینده پیوستگی بیشتری با طبیعت دارند به اهمیت و نقش آموزش­های محیط­زیستی توجه گردد و واحدهایی در برنامه آموزشی دانشجویان در راستای ارتقاء رفتار مسئولانه محیط­زیستی گنجانده شود. https://ijaedr.ut.ac.ir/article_87734_18c6c7d86075114d42ab52d38250911b.pdf
