The main purpose of this descriptive – correlational research was to investigate the influence of membership in production cooperatives on the level of social capital. The statistical population for the study consisted of: poultry producers in cooperatives and private sector (N=216). One Hundred and sixty nine samples were selected through Stratified Random Sampling method. The sample size was determined using Bartlett et al (2001) table of sample sizes. Based on the results, the level of social capital within cooperatives was significantly higher than that within the private producers. The variables of: trust to strangers, intrapersonal trust, and information exchange within the social system, social cooperation and informal relations' network were the most conspicuous differentiators between cooperatives and private producers, meaning that members of production cooperatives, in terms of possession of these components stood at a higher level. The results finally indicated that the cooperatives help strengthen and promote social capital. In total, the social capital of production cooperatives amounted to a higher figure than that of the producers in the private sector. تعاونی‌ها که با انسجام سرمایه‌ی اقتصادی و انسانی اعضای خود تشکیل می شوند، می‌توانند موجب تقویت سرمایه‌ی اجتماعی شوند. به منظور بررسی علمی این موضوع، تحقیق توصیفی همبستگی حاضر با هدف کلی بررسی تاثیر عضویت در تعاونی های تولیدی بر میزان سرمایه‌ی اجتماعی انجام شد. جامعه ی آماری این تحقیق 216 پرورش دهنده ی طیور در دو گروه فعال به شکل تعاونی و به صورت خصوصی در شهرستان کرمانشاه بودند. با استفاده از جدول بارتلت و همکاران( 2001) حجم نمونه 169 نفر تعیین و برای دستیابی دقیق به افراد مورد مطالعه، از روش نمونه گیری تصادفی طبقه ای تناسبی استفاده شد. یافته ها حاکی از وجود اختلاف معنی دار بین بخش تعاونی و خصوصی از لحاظ سرمایه ی اجتماعی درون گروهی بود. پنج عامل اعتماد به غریبه ها، اعتماد بین شخصی، مبادله ی اطلاعات با داخل نظام اجتماعی، تعاون اجتماعی و شبکه ی روابط غیر رسمی به ترتیب به عنوان مهم ترین فاکتورهای سرمایه ی اجتماعی متمایز کننده ی دو گروه تعاونی و خصوصی شناسایی شدند؛ به طوری که اعضای تعاونی های تولیدی نسبت به تولیدکنندگان بخش خصوصی از نظر دارا بودن این مولفه ها در سطح بالاتری قرار داشتند. نتایج تحقیق نشان داد که تشکیل تعاونی باعث تقویت سرمایه ی اجتماعی افراد می شود. در کل، سرمایه‌ی اجتماعی تولیدکنندگان بخش تعاونی بیشتر از تولیدکنندگان بخش خصوصی بود. https://ijaedr.ut.ac.ir/article_30506_288f1a3f262861f8c25f6bc91d6565f7.pdf
