Accordingly, the main purpose of this quantitative research was to designing an representation model for the new agricultural extension system of Iran, using grounded theory. Employing purposive sampling, snowball technique and theoretical saturation criteria, 31 participants, including faculty members, managers, and relevant experts of Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization (AREEO), were selected as sample. The collected data were analyzed by using Maxqda₁₂ software and during the three stages of open, axial and selective coding. Also, in order to increase the validity and reliability of qualitative data, the triangulation technique was used. Accordingly, “human resources, structure-planning, functional, infrastructure, financial resources, evaluation system and goals, policy and policy making” as causal condition; “economic-social and cultural structure of the agricultural sector and rural community, stakeholders, inherent characteristics of the agricultural sector and macro policy and conditions of the country” as contextual condition; and “inherent nature of agricultural extension activities and multiplicity of roles and duties” as interfering conditions, were identified as perceived by the respondents. Also, the improvement strategies included an efficient system for monitoring, assessment and effectiveness evaluation of activities, sustainable financial resources, transformation in the structure, processes and functions, knowledge management development, human capital development and appropriate policy making and planning; It is expected that this model will lead to positive consequences including: increasing the penetration of knowledge and technology, social capital development, suitability of extension services with the real needs of the stakeholders, justice-oriented, demand-oriented and improving the effectiveness and responsiveness of the agricultural extension system and finally, improving productivity and sustainability of the agricultural sector. نظام ترویج کشاورزی به‌منظور پاسخگویی به نیازهای در حال تغییر جامعه کشاورزان، نیازمند اصلاح، تحول و بهبود مستمر است. بر این اساس، هدف کلی این پژوهش کیفی<strong> </strong>که با استفاده از نظریه داده‌بنیاد انجام شده­ است، بازنمایی<strong> </strong>الگوی نظام نوین ترویج کشاورزی ایران بود. با استفاده از نمونه­گیری هدفمند و تکنیک گلوله‌برفی و معیار اشباع نظری، 31 نفر از اعضای هیات‌علمی، مدیران و کارشناسان سازمان تحقیقات، آموزش و ترویج کشاورزی به‌عنوان نمونه انتخاب شدند که مصاحبه نیمه‌ساختارمند با آن‌ها صورت گرفت. تجزیه‌وتحلیل داده­ها با استفاده از نرم‌افزار Maxqda₁₂  و طی سه مرحله کدگذاری باز، محوری و انتخابی انجام و مدل نهایی ارائه شد. به‌منظور افزایش روایی و پایایی داده‏های کیفی از تکنیک سه وجهی‏سازی استفاده شد. بر این اساس، عوامل "نیروی انسانی، ساختار - برنامه‌ریزی، کارکردی، زیرساختی، منابع مالی، نظام ارزشیابی و اهداف، خط‌مشی و سیاستگذاری" به‌عنوان شرایط علّی؛  "ساختار اقتصادی - اجتماعی و فرهنگی بخش کشاورزی و جامعه روستایی، مخاطبان، ویژگی‌های ذاتی بخش کشاورزی، شرایط کلان کشور" به‌عنوان شرایط زمینه‌ای ­و "ماهیت ذاتی فعالیت‌های ترویجی و تعدد نقش‌ها و وظایف" به‌عنوان شرایط مداخلگر از دیدگاه پاسخگویان شناسایی شدند. راهکارهای بهبود نیز شامل "نظام کارآمد نظارت و ارزیابی و سنجش اثربخشی فعالیت‌ها، تامین منابع مالی پایدار، تحول در ساختار، فرآیندها و کارکردها، توسعه مدیریت دانش، توسعه سرمایه انسانی و سیاستگذاری و برنامه‌ریزی مناسب" بود که انتظار می‌رود این الگو منجر به پیامدهای مثبتی در زمینه "افزایش نفوذ دانش و فناوری و توسعه سرمایه‌ اجتماعی در بخش کشاورزی، تناسب خدمات ترویجی با نیازهای واقعی مخاطبان، عدالت‌محوری، تقاضامحوری و ارتقاء اثربخشی و پاسخگویی نظام ترویج کشاورزی و در نهایت افزایش بهره‎وری و پایداری در بخش کشاورزی" شود. https://ijaedr.ut.ac.ir/article_100147_1fd5bb84f48557380bd4024964e4645d.pdf
